Reaching Forward was started in the beginning of 1997, when four friends from the south-west of North-Brabant and the north of Zuid-Limburg (two provinces in the south of The Netherlands) decided to start a straight edge hardcore-band.When the band started, all band members were between the 15-17 years old, making Reaching Forward one of the youngest hardcore-bands from Holland.
